'Chenta Music School' was opened in Cork in 1997 and during the
intervening years has established itself as Cork City's favorite
school in which to learn keyboard and piano. It is
conveniently situated near the city centre at 2 French Church
Street close to the Paul Street Car Park. Discerning
students of keyboard and piano can attend their classes while Moms
and Dads can do their shopping in the local supermarkets and
bookshops or grab something to eat in one of the nearby
restaurants. The School is run by Chenta Ní Riordáin
a native of Tipperary but who has been in Cork long enough to be
considered a native. The motto that Chenta has chosen for her
school 'Music for Life and Leisure' reflects her own philosophy
towards music. She believes that young students ( and the not
so young) can progress through the various levels without losing a
love for the music or their chosen instrument. Chenta insists that
learning music is something that will remain with one for life and
will repay the effort involved in learning a thousand fold.
